Brief Introduction:-

Dr Geeta Arora earned her PhD degree from IIT Roorkee, India in 2011.

She is working as a Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Lovely Professional University, Punjab, India.

She has over twelve years of teaching experience and published more than 60 research papers in both international and national Journals.

She has authored 22 book chapters in national and international publications. Also, she has authored books on Vedic Mathematics, Essential Statistics and Scilab. She has also authoured and edited a books on numerical methods in Taylor Francis and is currently working on books with Elsevier, AAP Taylor Francis and IGI Global.

Her area of research is the development of numerical methods and statistics. She received the research appreciation award in 2017, 2019 and 2024 from Lovely Professional University, Punjab, India.

She has conducted  Scientific conferences and  workshops on MATLAB , Stats and   Vedic mathematics for students and faculty members within and outside the university campus.

She has supervised nine (9) PhD scholars and is guiding five(5) PhD. Scholars.
